New late interest calculations and more!
In response to your requests, we've made some changes that we think are real time savers!
Late Interest Calculation
Whether it's at ATB prime plus; the mortgage rate; or any other rate, we'll calculate it for you.
We've added a Late Interest tab in two areas of econveyance – the Company Profile and the Accounting screen.
The tab located in the Company Profile provides you with the ability to store the current ATB Prime rate as well as the rate in excess of the prime (eg. 3). The information entered here will be used in each file when the circumstances require that late interest be paid at ATB prime plus.
On a buyer file, the Late Interest tab is located on the Funds Required to Close tab in the Accounting screen. Here you can indicate the type of calculation required and, using the data in your file, econveyance will calculate the late interest amount. Late interest entries will be reflected on the Funds Required to Close and Trust Reconciliation documents as well as the Cash to Close Letter to Seller Lawyer.

Copy Document Groups
We have now added the ability for you to copy document groups from another user in your firm. It's full of flexibility and quite simple!
You'll find a new option in the Document Manager - New Groups screen to copy a group. Simply select the user and a list of that user's groups will be displayed to you. Select the group from the drop down list and its contents will appear in the Documents in Groups table for you to review. You can save the group just as it is, or, you can change the name of the group as well as add additional documents or remove documents from the group.

Default Complete Accounts
We have added more flexibility in the way you create accounts on your files. You now have the ability to create default accounts. A default account is a complete account which can include fees, disbursements/other charges and payments. These complete accounts can then be added to any file by clicking the Get Default Account link that is now available on the main Account tab in Accounting.
We think you'll find this new feature quite simple to use. If you would like more details on how to create a default complete account, click here. If you would like more detail on how to add a complete account to your file, visit Company Profile or Accounting.
Econveyance Billing Information
The Billing Information tab in the Company Profile is where you record and update information relative to your econveyance account. You now have full control over selecting and changing your payment method as well as greater flexibility in selecting minimum and maximum top-up amounts.
