The user profile contains two tabs, User Profile and Third Party Link.

Note: Setting made in the user profile are the defaults that will automatically complete in your file. These defaults can be changed on a file by file basis.

User Profile Tab

User ID displays the user ID that you use to log into econveyancePro. 

Change Password allows you to change the password used to access econveyancePro. Click the link and follow the instructions on the screen.

Name Fields will display your first, middle and last name as well as your initials. Should you change your name, any alterations made here, will be reflected throughout the entire system.

Email is your email address. This email address is used in a number of ways throughout econveyancePro including task reminder notification and third party notifications such as title insurance messages.

Direct Phone and Fax is to be used for your own direct numbers. If you require these direct numbers to appear on your letters that are generated in econveyancePro, you must contact the very helpful desk.

File List Sort By options are used to set the default sort of any file list that you access. Each time you access a file list, it will be sorted based on this selection.

Finalized Document Settings

Download Location is used to set a default download location. This simplifies the process of downloading documents. Enter the complete path to the download location of your choice. For example, if you have a drive "J" that is a network drive and on that drive you have a Conveyance folder which is where you would like your client folders stored, you would enter J:\Conveyance\ in this field. 

Download Option is used to set the default for the type of files that will be downloaded. 

Sort By is used to set the default for how the documents on the finalized documents tab will be sorted.

Additional Settings

Show Announcements allows you to turn off the announcements that appear at the top of your screen while in econveyancePro. We use announcements to notify you of such things as problems with BC OnLine, feature updates, and other information that we feel is important to you.

Note:  Any announcement that we feel is urgent will be displayed whether this option is on or off.

Always Open Screens in Edit Mode allows you to access the transaction, seller, buyer, borrower, property and mortgage screens in edit mode. If this option is not selected, you will access these screens in read mode and you will be required to click Edit in order to make changes.

Default Rows Per Page For File List allows you to select the number of rows you prefer to view at one time on your file list.

Prompt for Joint Tenants - When entering buyers, if you click Save & New after entering the first buyer, you will receive a prompt asking if you wish to create the second buyer as a Joint Tenant. If you say yes to this prompt, the words Joint Tenants will be placed in the Type of Ownership box for the second buyer.

Receive Email Notification When New Messages Arrive? - If you would like to receive new message via email, in addition to receiving notification in econveyance, select this option. The emails will be sent to the email address entered on this screen.

Third Party Links Tab

BC Online

Storing your BC OnLine login information will allow econveyancePro to automatically log you in to BC OnLine when conducting title searches or accessing the EFS submission window. If you prefer not to store your BC OnLine login information, econveyancePro will prompt you to enter this information each time you conduct a title search or access the EFS submission window.

User ID is your BC OnLine user ID.

Password is your BC OnLine password.

Password Confirmation requires you to re-enter your BC OnLine password for security purposes.

Chicago Title

User Name is used for your Chicago Title Username, if applicable. Leave this field blank if you were not assigned a specific Chicago Title Username by Chicago Title.  Do not use this field to enter the lawyer or notary's Chicago Title username. This should be entered in the lawyer/notary profile.
