Land Title Searches and Submit to EFS

There are four different types of searches available in econveyancePro:

1. Title Search
2. Strata Plan Common Property Search
3. Parcel Information Search
4. Pending Applications Search

 
All land title searches conducted in your file will appear on the Land Title Searches list. The list will display the following information:

Search Type - This is for your reference only and indicates the search type that was set at the time the search was ordered.

Search Criteria - The search criteria will appear in blue. This will be either the PID or the title number. Click this link to open the search.

Status - The status column indicates the current status of the title search. 

• Searching - search is currently being conducted 
• Obtained - search has been obtained from Land Titles 
• Imported - search has been imported into your econveyancePro file
• Error -  an error has occurred in obtaining the search from Land Titles. Click on the Error link for further details

Legal - The legal description of the property will be displayed.

Content Type - This indicates whether your search contains current or current and cancelled information.

Create Date - This is the date and time the search was obtained from Land Titles.

Share - When sharing a file with the lawyer/notary acting on the other side, title searches can also be shared by toggling the No to a Yes in this column.  Note: Searches are shared by default.
