The Payee tab displays a list of all payees entered on your file. Entries can be edited or deleted from this list by using the Edit and Delete links.
Entries can also be re-ordered using the drag and drop icon. Click on the icon and drag the entry to the location of your choice.
It is suggested that you use the Payee tab for charges that you are required to pay out that are not registered on title, for example, credit cards.
Note: There are Request Pay Out Payee and Pay Out Payee letter available in the document manager. Search for Payee to see all available options.
Add New Payee - Click this link to add a new payee to your file.
Add Corporate Payee - Click the Add Corporate Payee link to enter deteails about a corporate payee. The Corporate Payee Details screen will be displayed. You can choose to manually enter the details of your payee, or use the blue Corporate Name link to look up the payee in the library. Complete only those fields required and click the Save or Save & New links to add an additional payee. Once saved, you will be returned to the main Payee Details screen and the name and address of the payee will be displayed.
Account number - Enter an account number if applicable.
Balance From Statement - Enter the balance owing as set out on the statement received from the payee.
Effective Date - Enter the date the balance from statement amount is effective. Clicking into this field will display a calendar widget.
Per Diem Rate - Enter the per diem rate of interest being charged by the payee, if applicable.
Payout Date - Enter the date funds will actually be received by the payee. This date is used by the system to calculate the total amount of interest to be paid to the payee.
Payout is Net Proceeds - This option is only available is you have not previously selected it on a charge or payee. Selecting this option will calculate the total net proceeds and indicate they are payable to this payee on the Order to Pay.
Description - Enter the information to describe what you are paying.
Calculation Preview (Generate) - Click the Generate link to have the system build a calculation preview that will be displayed on the Funds to Close.
